November 1: VOTE! Tomorrow

Tomorrow we US citizens get to vote. I urge all to do that.

I will be voting for John Kerry for the following main reasons:

1) During the past four years the United States has lost its moral leadership in the world. Respect for us by our allies has greatly diminished.

2) Rather than defeating terrorism we have, by our actions, created whole new generations of terrorists.

3) While I applaud the capture of Saddam and his cronies, we are fighting a war that has not only killed our soldiers but also led to the deaths of thousands of innocent men, women, and children in Iraq.

4) This war combined with our “go it alone” attitude has led to a major financial deficit in this country.

From your PaD to the vote counters.... Wonder if I could register in 2 districts since Russ got there before you did... think I'll try to sneak it in....

There is not much more one needs to add to what you said.

I voted for Kerry and not because I was voting against the bumbling Bush. I voted for Kerry because he is a complex thinker and realizes that there is more to an issue than his "gut" or his bible and that if you've made an error in judgement, it's not a sign of weakness to rethink and decide again. I voted for Kerry, because I was one of those Vietnam war protesters whose family has long had military members (father, brother, husband, son), but who saw her brother come back from there a broken man and guys like Kerry spoke up for him when he couldn't speak for himself. I voted for Kerry because he's actually interested in the well being of people not so fortunate as himself.
And, Robin, I'm voting for you!! (your photo, unless you're running for something :^)

You have that 'Presidential' look and gravitas. You should have stood yourself! Only the small matter of a few millions to fund the campaign...

Great job Robin. You got my vote!!!!

+1 to the previous poster. I think a lot of people are voting against Bush by voting for Kerry.

Very nice work, Robin!

I think you and Russ waited a little too long to announce your candidacy. I might have voted for you but alas alfred e newman was all too persuasive and that is where my vote will be going.

Think we'll have a clear winner Wednesday morning? The Dems and the Repubs will demand a recount when I sweep the nation! ;)

Great work, Robin! Thanks for reminding everyone it is their duty to vote!

I was all set to vote for Kerry, until I saw this: <http://www.pbase.com/knight_errant/image/35824023

P.S. well I would love to have the Canon 20D, but I don´t have money for that...and I do hate Nikon...Canon man ...ehehehe ...so my only possibility will be the 300D ... still in study my friend ...
Pedro Libório01-Nov-2004 22:18
well...if I was American I would vote like you for sure,
the image of Bush out of America is terrible negative...I can not understand how the media says they are almost even... but if Bush wins again, America will have another down in credit outside...you could be sure of that!!!!
regards my friend!
