Three Pelicans

Carlsbad State Beach

I wrote this poem over 25 years ago. Today, on my way to my weekly Photoshop class, I saw this flock fly by. So I had to post the image. The high contrast is intentional.
I really "grok" these birds...and think maybe I was a pelican in a former life?

"Grok" - I've read that somewhere.... Heinlein, perhaps? Stranger in a Strange Land? That's going back a few years for me. :)

so tell me about your photoshop class! I took one of t hose thru a community college a couple of years back . . .unfortunately I've forgotten a lot!! But it was both Illustrator & P/S

I think fish cry when pelicans go by...cry with relief for not being dinner!!
