You may recall that I am assigned the task to photograph a portrait artist - * click here ** who will use my shot to paint her portrait.

This morning with the wonderful help of fellow pBaser * Kathy Rippy ** I shot Renee in a variety of settings around Balboa Park. We haven’t yet selected the print Renee will paint her portrait from. This is one nominee.

I like the concept here. I think having her feet not touch the bricks adds the tension and action that makes this shot "alive". The choices you make as to what to include and not include shows a lot of thought. This is one I would be proud to claim as my own.
