Battle Mountain, which looms 400 feet northwest above my home in Rancho Bernardo commemorates the largest battle, San Pasqual, on US soil during the Mexican American War. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_San_Pasqual
To my surprise today I saw a flag fluttering next to the cross. I limbered up my 70-200 f/2.8 with 2x extender to get more glass on the scene.. It turns out there are two flags: the US Flag and a Chargers Flag!
