The KWIQ Guider is a QHY5 CCD camera attached to a standard 9x50 finder scope. In this configuration it's used to autoguide the imaging rig-- tracking a target star and sending signals to the mount to ensure that it's pointed at the same location in the sky for up to 10 minutes. I use a software package called PHD Guiding to control the QHY5.
