Progressive-rock icon, founding and lead member of King Crimson.
Promoting his latest LP, Exposure
Kind of like a "town hall" meeting, a rare performance by Mr. Fripp in a small record store.
The show was advertised by word of mouth. The audience sat on the floor.
It was quite loud, but clean (look at that stack of power amplifiers);
and not to mention beautiful, mesmerizing and unforgettable.
(Mr. Fripp asked that there be no photography once the performance had begun.)
These are scans from color negative film. Nikkormat 35mm SLR, 50mm f/1.4 lens.

Got to see King Crimson at The Fillmore East, early in their career
and later on.
Always an extraordinary performance.

Great Pictures of Fripp , about a year before he reformed KC with Belew , Levin and That Great Drummer (Forgot his name ) . Saw the third incarnation of Kc about 10 years ago and they were incredible !
