Hi there, I'm hoping this message reaches you. It's coming up on MSTS's 25th anniversary next year and I was thinking it might be nice to take the opportunity to fully re-digitise the magnificent photos you took for it, if you still have the originals.
I'm curious as to where the other photos were sourced from too, I'm assuming they were provided by the relevant railway associations' archives but it'd be good to have confirmation.
My friends and I have experience handling film negatives and prints - look up TheTUGSProject for some great 80's photos of maritime miniatures we restored.
Regardless, thanks so much for contributing so much to one of my favourite games from my childhood, your photography was truly iconic and really gave the game such a memorable feel.
Cheers and greetings from Australia, Max

I attended your Incentive Per Diem Boxcar clinic at Bay Area Prototype Modelers meet in June and appreciated the effort you put into organizing your presentation. A mention of your clinic is in the August 2023 “Railroad Model Craftsman”. I recognized some of your slides from your photos here. Nice work.

Hello Rick Selby,
I recently looked at your PBase photos and you have some very nice proto photos and SP models. The proto photo of BNSF 617901 on 09-01-07 caught my attention. Very nice. I am writing because I am hoping you can provide me the location of the photo (city & state). Also, do you have any other BN/BNSF coal hoppers and rotary coal gondolas you may not have posted? I would be pleased to share what I have and help with your photo requests.
Thank you for your attention to my request.
Sincerely,
Dick Klawiter

hi rick, what's going on? Is this game postponed or cancelled?? I have a very upset 11 year old and if it has been completely cancelled I would rather tell him now than have him waiting and hoping another year. If it was almost completed why not complete it and earn the money back? If microsoft is in that much dire straights. Thanks
