Monastic Festival~~Every year the Lamayur gompa festival,a monastic festival,which celebrates the triumph of good over evil.Masked monks dressed in rich brocade robes used to dance.

Nice picture, its so beautiful. I am a monk from Lamayuru. It makes my memory fresh of my live in lamayuru during festival. I also danced with mask many years. Unfortunately this year i could not participate due to the some personal works.
