When I was just a kid, barely old enough to shave, they told me we were fighting for freedom. Freedom means a lot to my people, so I served without further question. It took many years before I learned what we were REALLY fighting for. Now, forty years later, our kids are again being told they are fighting for freedom. What will THEY learn years from now? To all who have served and all who are serving now, I know you joined your units with pure hearts and minds and I Salute You. To those who send these young men and women off to war, I admonish you. When I served my country it was not to permit you to carry on the way you do. Now is the time to do the right thing. Start bringing our kids home.
