This will likely be the closest I come to getting one.

We had one when I was a kid... great fun... had a table between us kids so we could do drawings & entertain ourselves... and bunks to sleep in too!

There's one much like that for sale down the road from me Dave. (different color but about the same style) It's been there a long time so it's probably not worth what they're asking for it. I'll see if I can get a picture of it. Love this!

I saw one the other day that had been completely restored.... looked great! My personal favorite VW is the 'thing'.... a great car for it's time. Jv

My neighbor across the street, the hippy, has one. He painted it baby blue recently. It must have 20 coats of paint on it, all a different color.
