I don't need another house and it has been five years since I got out of the rental property business but this deal caught my attention. While driving today we saw a sign that said "Canal Home Available - Cheap". We investigated and found a fixer upper that was not as in as bad a shape as the cheap price would suggest.

The house is a steal. It is on a saltwater canal that has access to the Atlantic Intra-Coastal Waterway. It is in a neighborhood where houses are selling for three times what the bank is asking for this one.
	It needs a new roof, new carpet, an upgrade in lighting fixtures, and paint inside and out. If this were about six months from now I would be in a better position to jump all over this deal. A classic case of "Would have..." "Could have..." Should have..." also known as, "Woulda..." "Coulda..." "Shoulda..."
