The Niagara Thunder takes on some international rugby Wednesday (June 13) when they encounter England’s Lancashire County team in an exhibition match.

As part of Lancashire's 125th anniversary celebrations, the team is touring Eastern Canada. Lancashire County once again won its way through to the County Championship final in England this year, but fell, 27- 6 to Devonshire.

Last Saturday the visitors played the Newfoundland Rock and defeated the Canadian champions, 27-15.

Jeff Prince, Thunder's head coach, said the game would be a good test against a quality team from overseas.
