As the sun lowered over the Promontories the yellows began to show.
For some reason the yellows 'clipped' and I wasn't able to show their true brilliance.
This is a beautiful area at which you can see 50 miles north and south and 22 miles to the west and 8 miles to the east (limited by the mountains.)
At sunset, the birds begin to chatter and being a bird refuge in the path of bird migratory routes,
there are hundreds of different birds here every season.
It's beauty to both the eyes and ears. (And this early in the year and since it was only 30 deg.F,
the bugs were still dormant so the photographer didn't get eaten half-alive.)
