When I saw the title of this gallery, the first thing that crossed my mind was, "I wonder if the pigeons are still there?" Glad to see they are still as much a part of the locale as Lord Nelson, in spite of the hawk. I say "still" because the last time I was there was in 1958, and some scammers would put some feed into an unsuspecting tourist's hand and snap a picture. Were also some photographers with old view cameras on tripods who would make a few shillings from the tourists. One of my favorite memories was of a gentleman, an unlicensed guide, who called himself "The Walking Encyclopedia." He loved the history of the city and in the course of many weekends gave me a great education about people and places. Great locale for this ongoing project. Nice work!
