Today I climbed the Matianyu section of the Great Wall.
We took the chair lift up to the Wall, walked (climbed) up thousands of steps for three and a half hours in 30 degree heat, then took the cable car back down. Pheeeeew !!!
The photo shows the second part of the section, with the cable car station on the brow of the hill top left.
