Pisco, Peru

The main attraction, at least for us, in the Pisco Peru area
was the Paracas National Reserve and the making of the liquor Pisco.
The Reserve is a 700,000 acre practically vegetation free coastal park of hard packed
sand dunes and rugged hills overlooking the ocean. It was quite stunning.
Pisco is said to be the national drink of Peru. It is about an 80 proof liquor, and yes we went to a winery and tasting.
The entire area was fascinating.
