Block-30 F-16C 87-0014, delivered in October 1988, with the improved P&W F110- engine. The F110 provided 5,000 pounds more thrust than the F100, and required a larger amount of air. This in turn required that the area of the air intake be increased. However, this change was not made at first, and early F-16C/D Block 30's are "small inlet" aircraft, such as this example parked at Mürted, later Akinci, in August 1989.
87-0014 flew with 143Filo until the failed coup on 15 July 2016. The airbase became a reserve base because of involvement of the 4th Wing (AJÜ), which was disbanded as a result. 143Filo aircraft went to the new 153Filo at Merzifon, where the OCU-role of 143 was continued.
