F-4D 66-7725 of 170TFS/IL ANG in landing at EDUW, better known as RAFG Wildenrath, August 1986. One of the last ANG flying the F-4D was a real drive to go there as much as possible. The Phantoms flew numerous sorties together with the local 19 and 92sqdn Phantom FGR.2's. The US aircraft had one big advantage: the incredible sound of the famous J79 engines.
