The typical WSK Ts-11 Iskra (Spark) saw a long service history with the Polish air force. Poland became the only Warsaw Pact country using the Iskra. 424 aircraft were built until 1987, when the production ceased. 50 aircraft Iskra bis D were exported to India in 1975, then further 26 in the mid-1990's. This Ts-11BisC 904 (c/n 2H0904) was built in 1972 and is pictured in 1991 at (now closed) Pila, serving with (the now disbanded) 6PLM-B. This particular Iskra went to India a few years later.
