One of the 36 MiG-21R's delivered to the Polish AF between 1968 and 1972 was this 1507 (c/n 94R021507). It served with 32PLRT at Sochaczew until May 1991, when it was retired and flown over to Mierzecice for disposal. There, it was noted a few weeks later, awaiting the scrapman.
