The 1950's? No, back in 1991 the Polish air force (WOPL) still used some antique VEB-built Il-14's (NATO: 'Crate'), in service with 13PLT at Krakow. Here, Il-14T 3065 awaits its next flight. 3065 is preserved at the Museum Park of Aviation and Technology, Merseburg (Germany).
