The Church of St. Anne is a Roman Catholic Church located in the old city of Jerusalem, just at the start of the Via Dolorosa. The location of the church according to tradition is where Anna and Joachim lived, and believed to be the site of the grotto where Saint Mary mother of Jesus was born. It is also right by the Bethesda Pool, known to be the site where Jesus healed a paralytic (John 5:1-15), If you get to experience songs and music at St Anne’s church during your visit, the acoustics and design of the church are perfect for singing and music. Many Holy Land Pilgrim groups come to St. Anne’s to sing and pray every day, and everyone is welcomed to join and prepare a song from all religions.
