Almost half of the 2,237 monuments in Bagan have been rebuilt, sometimes from the ground up. I think they have gone too far as the rebuilt
temples/stupas look obviously modern. The Plain of Bagan already has a look that verges on Disneyfication. Much more rebuilding and
the place will loose it's charm.
