Scientific name: Agapornis roseicollis roseicollis (Vieillot, 1818). CITES status: CITES II - ENDANGERED.
Distribution: The Peach-faced Lovebird is native to southwest Africa in Nambia and southwest Angola.
Note: The original 'Agapornis roseicollis roseicollis' was discovered in 1817. The 'catumbella' subspecies was discovered in 1952.
