The Changi Museum was re-established on its current site on 15 February 2001. The Museum focuses on the trials and tribulations of Singaporeans,
British and Australian Prisoners-of-War (POWs) and civilian internees who were incarcerated by the Japanese during the Occupation years of 1942 to 1945.
