I have several pictures of me sitting on this cannon that I dug out of the memories box. Boy has the timre gone by. My pictures were in black and white taken in 1956. There are many attractions just outside of Verdun also such as For DuMont and Fort Deveau. The Ossuary of Dumont, The trench of Bayonets, Two small villages that were gassed during the WW! which are still uninhabitable. Oh the Memories you have provoked.
