You can perfectly see the difference between Northern Species (Frontosa) and Southern (Gibberosa), for example between a Cyphotilapia Frontosa Burundi and a Cyphotilapia Gibberosa Moba. But it is very difficult to tell if a Gibberosa Zaire Blue is from Moba, Kapampa or Kitumba. They look very similar. Some people say that Kitumba have more purple color, but I think it depends on the colony you have, the food you give, etc.

i just purchased a colony of blue frontosa's. how can i tell if they are moba;s, katumba, kapumpa's....etc. any advise would be greatful.
