These mpimbwe fry are about 1.5 inches in length. They are housed in a large 6foot tank with the parent colony.
There are limited territories for these young cichlids, so I often observe them battling it out for dominance over a cave or rocky area.
They are quite timid in the light, so I had to shoot them in the dark using the infra-red focus beam.
