We booked an "early" morning flight to Las Vegas.It was still dark when we parked our car at the Park & Fly.The shuttle arrived,we loaded our bags....the door closed and we were off to the airport.Along the route I did a mental calculation of all our bags....something didn't seem right.I looked around....NO camera bag.I had left it in the back of the car.I don't know about the rest of you,but almost anytime I leave the house,my camera bag is at my side.I could not believe I had forgotten my most important piece of luggage.My wife decided she'd bring her little point and shoot Canon in case she wanted to take a picture.Thank god she did.At least I had that.I must say I felt naked without my camera though.So these shots in the gallery were the best I could do on this trip.Vegas was as close to deserted as I've ever seen it.People are staying home obviously in this tough economy.They have had to hire taxi cops to protect people getting ripped off on cabfares as the cabbies are suffering this economy as much as anyone in Las Vegas.The casinos were as empty as I've ever seen them.Tips are no longer expected,just appreciated.Could be an interesting year there.
