This photo shows that the back of the head and nape have not received any of the color markings that would indicate that this was an individual relocated from Boston's Logan Airport. Norman Smith, Director of Mass Audubon's Snowy Owl Project relocates owls from the airport to Duxbury Beach and other locations.
