This view shows the classic Iceland Gull shape including the rounded head and the light primaries (closer view in a subsequent photo). The light tan markings all over the body make this a young bird and the fact that it is a bit bleached out is consistent with being mid-winter rather than early winter when the bird might apppear a bit darker.
