The remaining shots are of this Osprey hunting over the little Spooner Pond (across from Cordage Park). It likely is the bird that nests near Nelson Park. Again the focus is abit problematic, but the purpose for posting them is to show him/her being rewarded for persistence (2 dives) as it flew off with a large perch! I'm surprised that I don't see more peo[ple fishing this pond given the size of the fish.... too big for the Scaups(both), Ring-necked Ducks, and Bufflehead that were busy diving in the pond at the time.
