Watusi Cattle

Vanderpool, TX

These are Watusi Cattle from Africa now being raised in Texas.
These two from a small herd were photographed
along Route 337 near Vanderpool, TX.

The Watusi Cattle and the Ankole Cattle trace their origins
back over 6,000 yrs.
