Was wondering just how close I could go if I stacked as many extension tubes and teleconverters as possible onto my closest-focusing lens.
Closer than this, was the answer. Focus was not easy with not a great deal of light, and a rather small margin for error. The whole setup was fairly unstable so I decided to go for flash to avoid shake.
Image is uncropped.
