A grain train approaching milepost 334 on the Red Rock Subdivision. The power consist is BNSF Dash 9-44CW locomotives #5174 and #4768 with GP60 #8728 (ex-Santa Fe #4028).
It still doesn't seem right to hear trains on this former Santa Fe line referred to as north or south. Until after the BNSF merger it was operational practice on this north-south trackage for trains to either be eastward (north) or westward (south).
