Silver-spotted Skipper

The Silver-spotted Skipper (Epargyreus Clarus) is the most commonly seen skipper in the United States and southern Canada during the summer. Neither butterflies nor moths, skippers are distinguished by their widely based antennae terminating in pointed, curved clubs.
