Every night at around six in the evening as this sun sets on Zanzibar, groups of young men line up to jump off the sea walls into the shallow Indian Ocean below. Points are given for for the more daring and spectacular entrances to the water in the form of warm applause and hugs back on dry land before the jumper takes his place back in line for another go.
