I appreciate the pictures in this album, especially those of the pre-Pearl Harbor army. However, I must note that, in my opinion, this particular picture is dated incorrectly. The M1 carbines held by the soldiers on the left and center of the trio would not be available until the next year at the earliest. Additionally, in 1941, the M1917A1 helmet, not the M1 helmet in the picture, would be the most likely headgear.
