These snapshots are part of my memories of having served in the US Army from May of 1941,
as a Selective Service Draftee, to the end of hostilities in Europe in 1945. Arriving overseas
in Scotland in July 1942 and reaching Pilsen, Czechoslovakia in May 1945.
Honorable discharged from the military service on July 4, 1945 at Fort Dix, New Jersey.
