SEQUENCE: Canada Goose beginning bath with max water turbulence
(1 of 6)

Foster City, California

I'm seldom compelled to photograph a Canada Goose but was fascinated by how vigorous and thorough this one was in bathing itself. The bath took at least 15 minutes and the goose was impressive in its ability to insure its entire body received plenty of water and attention.
