This may be my last posting about the chickadee nestlings. They are now 15 days old in one box (top photo) and 14 days old in the other box (bottom photo). Unlike bluebirds, chickadees won't have a second brood. While I was looking inside one of the chickadee boxes I could hear cardinals feeding young in a bush near the box. I took a peek inside the bush to see if I could find the nest and found it with 3 nestlings that were about 11 days old. Meanwhile, the Tree Swallow nestlings are begging for food at the entrance to their nest box (last photo below).
