Wapato (Sagittaria latifolia)

The flowers are shown on the left and the distinct arrowhead-shaped leaves are shown on the right. This is a common wetland species and there was a lot of it in bloom today. This one particular plant caught my eye because it offered the opportunity to compose a photo with the flowers and leaves clearly shown in the same shot without any other distracting elements in the scene.

A lovely shot of this broad-leave arrowhead (though I like the name Wapato, which I'm not familiar with). I find it hard to photograph white flowers in sunlight, but you did well.
