Sensei is teacher in Japanese language. Beatriz P. Mojica or "Mojica Sensei", a Filipina and Principal of the Nihongo Center Foundation received an award from the Japanese Government on July 13, 2006 for her dedication in promoting the Japanese Language in the Philippines for almost three decades. She received the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette at the Japanese Ambassador's Residence.
