Hi Nancy , I have two 1937 studebakers that I'm working on and I have looked to Jerry's restoration many times for help. I recently saw an article online where he was helping someone with their grille restoration and had made a board to hold the fins and now I can't find the article. Can you help? thanks Kurt

I recently found among a collection of used postcards & souvenir folders, one (souvenir folder of Oil City, Pa) that was written by Ethel Standley of Van, Pa to her brother Charley, B.H.A. Ward #60, Camp Lee, Va. I found you through a Google search ..the Standley's are noted in your genealogy. I recently became a member of Ancestry.com which has been very helpful with lots of information. Will gladly send the folder or a photo attachment by email to you.

Hi, Nancy. We'd like to use one of these photos in On Wisconsin magazine -- the color one with the students from WMHA celebrating the station's birthday. Do you know who took the photo or how the photo credit should read? Thank you! -- Niki Denison, ndenison@waastaff.com

I was excite to find your research on line. I have been research for family history information about John E. and Martha Mae (Evans) Jones. They were married about 1855 in Charleston, Tioga, PA and had a son named John E. Jones in 1856. The family story I have heard and read about is that John died and Martha marred a second man named John Jones and they had sons, Alfred and Rees. Martha was living with her sons in Charleston in 1870. When Martha's mother, Ann Evans, died the Will mentioned Martha with a 3rd husband, David M. Evans. When you were researching the Jones family in Charleston, did learn information about the above family? I would be interested in any information you may have and can share. Thank you for your time and anticipated reply. Barb Jones

I like the pictures of your 37 Studebaker. Would like to know how to get the cross-brace out-and-in behind and above the radiator that the support rods attach to from the firewall. I am in the process of putting one back together that was bought in pieces. Any help would be much appretiated. Thanks.

I have information for you on Belva Spors Osley and family from Ella Spors line. If you are interested to add to your pages I can e-mail you that info. I have been to your site often and and trying to follow ancestors. Have found that we have a common ancestry with President Grant if I've followed it correctly. It has been fun going back to the Mayflower and into the Plantegent family in England.

Hi Nancy. The Alaska trip was quite an adventure. It challenged my endurance several times. My motorcycle is still sitting where I put it when I got home, waiting for some mechanical repairs I don't have time to do! I have a few other priorities right now. First and foremost it needs a new water pump and rear brakes so maybe I'll start with that and at least get it on the road so that it doesn't deteriorate.

I am interested in learn more about your Daniels. My mother is Wilma Henrietta daniels, descendant of Nelson Daniels brother John. John has a great grandson Jerome "Jerry" Daniels who is still living on Vancouver Island British columbia.

I have more information on Nelson (buried in Arena Cem Arena Iowa Co Wi) died 25 Jul 1896 and his four wives and his children. Also his siblings and their children: Nelson's siblings were Mahala, Wealthy, Ruth, and John Jr. Weathly and Ruth married brothers, Paull, and lived in Ontario co NY. John lived near Nelson and sister Mahala in Stephenson co before Nelson and Mahala moved to Wisconsin. Their mother, Phebe Miller Daniels died in 1863 and is buried near John Jr (d 1858 of TB) in the Howard Union Cem between Durand and Pecatonica in Winnebago Co IL (just over the county line from Stephenson Co.) Mahala's in-laws, Isaac Farwell b 1763 and Prudence Allen b 1768 are also buried in the Howard Union Cem.

Phebe Miller's brother Aaron also lived with them in Stephenson co but I don't know exactly when he died....sometime between 1850 and 1860. Phebe's parents, Aaron Miller and Ruth Ingalls are buried in the Pleasant Street Cem West Rutland Vt. Aaron died in 1813 and Ruth in 1805. When Aaron died, creditors of his estate were directed to present their claims to John Daniels 2nd.

PS: Either Jerry or his brother Barry Daniels runs a website which sells reproductions of their father's paintings on line. Their father was Jasper Mallory Daniels jr (John Daniels Jr (nelson's brother) married Elizabeth Jerusha Mallory and had Henry Brown Daniels and Jasper Mallory Daniels in Hampton Iowa. Elizabeth died of TB in 1891. I have her original daily journal.) Jasper was my mother's brother. He changed his name to Allen Farrell in 1955. (//www.allenfarrell.com/) Two books have been written about his life: Sailing Back in Time and Salt on the Wind.

In searching for my deceased grandparents roots the name Margaret Julia Dobransky caught my eye. Margaret was my grandmothers name and Julia her daughters name. The only info have is what little my aunt (Julia) told me when I was a young boy. Grandma Margaret Dobransky and my Grandfather Antone Dobransky migrated here from Poland. He arrived at Ellis Island May 17th 1895. They married and migrated to the Andaconda Butte area of Montana where lived until the mid 1920's Then they moved to Washington State and homesteaded 40 acres in the Wynooche Valley near Montesano, WA. They lost contact with their famlies in PA and CT. I remember my aunt telling me she was named after relatives as was my father Albert. My aunt was born in Ct about 1902. Does anyone have information on Margaret Julia's parents. Neat site and neat family. Thanks CJ.Dobransky
