I've been very torn about keeping these photos on my gallery.
First of all, they are not really animals in the wild but animals at BC Wildlife Park.
Second, the site is not a zoo but actually a wildlife rehabilitation centre.
Injured wild animals are taken to this place to be cared for, nursed back to health and hopefully returned to the wild.
Unfortunately, due to the extent of their injuries, not all the animals can be returned.
The costs of operating such a facility are high and one way to help pay the bills is to allow the public to view some of the animals and charge admission.
So, I am torn because even though the place is a game park and the animal shots are not of animals in the wild but in captivity and so some might call the images a lie.
On the other hand, I know they do good work and have saved a great number that would have otherwise perished.

And so, I have created this extra place for them. I hope you can find some value and enjoyment out of seeing them in natural surroundings; albeit, not totally natural.
