Vaisakhi Parade

Kelowna, British Columbia

Millions of Sikhs around the world celebrate the ancient winter harvest combined with the baptism of
the first Sikh in 1699. The inaugural Vaisakhi Parade in the Okanagan arrived in Kelowna at noon on
Saturday. These young lads were especially colourful and excited to be a part of the festivities.
