Takeoffs and Landings Rehearsal

This gallery is a collection of shots taken during a 4 day period prior to the Gwinnett Ballet Theatre's Alumni performance entitled "Takeoffs and Landings". Dancers arrived from all over the country to take part. In this gallery you see these dancers in the studio learning new dances to be performed from Choreographer Thom Clower. The process starts with viewing videos of the dances, then Thom teaches the steps and sequences, then they practice, and practice, and practice! Another outstanding series Richard. I love the emotion you catch in these shots. I have always loved your dancer galleries and the glamour that they represent. This gallery shows what the dancers go through to make those shots so amazing. In some ways I like these more for the story they tell. Bravo!...again.

Hehehe, I concur with Quantum_Illusions; 5 stars! The monochrome approach is one that I hope will never change. It is superb. The perfect DOF and superb exposures make this also a gallery which as ever is a treat for the eyes. Practice, practice and more practice... the tough life of a ballet dancer. I love the text on the T-Shirt "CAN'T I've got rehearsal". The shots are great, the gallery is greater. Yep, you got my vote
