Just Jessica

Jessica is a professional ballet dancer and starting her 4th year with the Houston Ballet. Jessica joined 4 other dancers for an afternoon of shooting at McDaniel Farm park in the Atlanta area. I used a Canon 5D at ISO 200 and a Canon 24-105 f4L IS Lens. I used 5 foot gold and white reflectors for most shots with flash fill for a few. Lisa Sheppard-Robson art directed and was able to bring out the beauty of this incredible artist athlete.

Reminds me of wild flowers. Or maybe the little petunia in the onion field. Nice concept of photography. Different like taking a chance and why not? A master innovator!!! :)

Black and white is a very difficult medium Learn to see in black and white and this will then help you see the grays between the blacks and whites which make for a more dynamic photo

Just Jessica is a bit of an understatement... It is a bit like saying... just anyone... but Jessica is a pleasure to watch. She is one of those people like my Vanessa, Rachael or Lucy, a personality with a million dollar smile that just oozes confidence and radiates class and happiness. She may just be a professional dancer which is quite obvious from her movements which you have captured in each of these shots. Lisa's choreography have without a hint of a doubt contributed to this great series but most of all, and here it comes, Jessica is an expressive, radiant, happy and confident personality whom you have put in the spotlight with this series. What an incredibly refreshing series to follow and judging by the enormous smile on my face while opening each shot for a quick glance, I can only conclude that you have done well. Extremely well.
