Ballerinas take Hip Hop Class

This is the sister gallery to my "Ballet Class" Gallery https://pbase.com/rcalmes/class
This class is their first of the day...not really because they have come to this class directly from school. You will see standard school oxfords on some of the dancers. In this class they break all of the "Ballet" rules, let their hair down and just have fun before Ballet Class! It was fun to watch and shoot!

Love seeing ballerinas explore different forms of dance. Its interesting that even though they're in a hip-hop class, they still have their ballet tights on.

Hehehe, terrific. You cannot go wrong with B&W. I love this series as well. It may be less gracious than ballet but it sure does look like a lot of fun. Mr Fong Lam was the first person I knew who captured the hip-hop dance. He captured it in colour and outside. You captured it in mono and inside yet the similarities are remarkable. This is a fantastic set. Well done!
