Crystal, Gayle, Dennis, Herbert: This is actually the top of a doggie treat jar that I bought at an arts and crafts show. The treats are real, the coating is most likely a varnish of some sort. The only PS I did was cropping, levels and unsharp mask. Interesting to know an image that I didn't consider to have much merit at least got some to thinking. Enjoyed your comments.

im guessing ur using the plastic wrap or something similar in photoshop? lol cuz the stool looks wet too!
Usually I look at the thumb and say "What in the world is that?" and then open the photo and say "Oh, that's what it is!" I'm still saying "What in the...?" And, how did you get that wet plastic look?
